dc.description.abstractMarstaller, R.: Bryophyte communities in the landscape of porphyry outcrops near Halle/S. (SaxonyAnhalt). – Hercynia N. F. 43 (2010): 19 –70.In the porphyry district between the towns Halle, Wettin, Löbejün and Landsberg, situated in the centralpart of Saxony Anhalt, the bryophyte communities have been recorded. Significant there are acidophyticassociations of the alliances Grimmion commutatae, Ceratodonto purpurei-Polytrichion piliferi,Dicranellion heteromallae, Diplophyllion albicantis, neutrophytic or basiphytic communities of the alliancesGrimmion tergestinae, Grimaldion fragrantis, Phascion cuspidati, epiphytic associations of thealliances Ulotion crispae, Syntrichion laevipilae, Leskeion polycarpae and some communities on rottenwood. 52 associations and communities are represented by numerous relevés in 31 tables. A bryogeographicdiscussion of some characteristic bryophyte species and communities for the porphyry districtis given.Key words: Bryophytes, phytosociology, habitat conditions, flora, Saxony Anhalt.ger
