Processing purposes and legal basis
The data processing of your personal data is carried out for the purpose of provision and on the basis
of the usage relationship of the database (Share_it repository) based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. of
the general data protection regulation (GDPR). In all other respects, the privacy policy (in German only)
of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg applies.

Your personal data will not be transmitted to third parties.
Transfer to third countries
There is no data transfer to third countries.
Duration of storage
Your personal data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the aforementioned purposes. This may include, among other things, storage until the statute of limitations has expired for any claims asserted against us. In addition, your personal data will be stored for as long as we have a legal obligation to store and provide evidence of this. The storage periods are therefore up to 1.5 years after the last activity of specific accounts.
Rights of the affected persons
You have the right to request information at any time about the personal data stored by us which may be assigned or linked to your person (Art. 15 of the German General Data Protection Regulation GDPR). In addition, you have the right to authorization (Art. 16 GDPR), deletion (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data transfer (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR).
Right of complaint to a regulatory authority
If you believe that the processing of your personal data is unlawful, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a regulatory authority (Article 77 of the GDPR).
Obligation to provide personal data
The provision of your personal data is necessary for the execution of the contract or for the implementation & service provision of the repository. In case of non-provision, no use of the database can take place.
